Summary: Her side of things...

"No."

Sam pressed against me a little harder, my will being eroded by her naked flesh against mine. "Come on, Janet..."

"A weekend with three men, in the middle of nowhere? Sam, honey..."

Sam kissed my cheek, nuzzling my neck and pecking at my ear. I began to melt. "Don't make me suffer alone, sweetheart. Pwease?" She touched me somewhere that, in the past, had been known to make me very compliant. "Pwetty pwease?" Her tongue slipped into my ear. "I'll make it worth your while."

"Mmm..."

"Is that a yes?"

"That's a maybe."

Sam pouted. "How can I change it into a yes?"

I showed her.

---

Two days later, after a red-eye flight and a long early-morning drive back to the cabin, we'd arrived. Teal'c had flown out with Jack the day before, uncharacteristically making sure that we would indeed be joining them on the trip. I think the poor guy was afraid he had been tricked into another weekend of fishing with the Colonel. He seemed inordinately relieved (well, for Teal'c) when we arrived. The Colonel pointed us towards the guest bedroom. "Since you ladies are both here, you get the nicely-sized guest room. Second door on the right, there. There's only one bed, but it's king-sized. Pretty spacious, so..."

"We'll make do," Sam assured him.

We dumped our stuff in the room and the Colonel took a nap, catching up on the beauty sleep that picking us up had infringed upon. We sat with Teal'c, talking, laughing, joking, trying to keep quiet so as not to disturb Colonel O'Neill any further. Daniel arrived not long after dawn, looking about as wiped out as the Colonel had. He passed out in the armchair and I leaned my head on Sam's shoulder for a catnap.

The day's festivities started around noon, when everyone was present, account for and conscious. O'Neill, waking chipper and ready for action, emerged from his bedroom with the energy of a teenager. He suggested swimming while our lunch grilled and we took him up on it. Sam and I disappeared into our room and I let her dig through the suitcases for our suits. As I kicked off my sandals, I watched as she unbuttoned her shirt and shrugged out of it.

I bit my bottom lip and asked, "Was coming here such a good idea?"

"What do you mean?" Sam asked, stripping off her khaki shorts. She was wearing white lace panties that matched her bra and I almost lost it.

"I mean this room shares a wall with the Colonel's. How soundproof are the walls?"

Sam winked at me. "Guess we'll have to find out."

"Not funny, Sam," I warned her, shedding my own shorts and relishing the once-over I got from Sam. "I wouldn't be comfortable doing anything if there was a chance he could hear me."

"Anything?" Sam said, stepping into the bottom of her suit and pulling it up her legs. I watched as she ran a finger over the crotch, getting it lined up correctly, and licked my lips as I tried to remember what I'd been saying. Something about Sam's crotch, hadn't it been? Sam glanced at me and said, "Seriously? You don't want to do anything if Colonel O'Neill is in the next room?"

Ahh, right. "I'm sorry, Sam. But if he overheard, and you do get a little loud sometimes, it could be the beginning of the end."

Sam sighed. "All right. I guess I can hold myself back for three days."

"Well," I grinned, stepping forward. I was still in my panties and hadn't gotten my bathing suit yet. "You wouldn't have to go the entire three days. Just when Colonel O'Neill wasn't next door to overhear."

"Oh?"

"Like now."

"Now?"

"Mm-hmm."

"We're supposed to... mmm... be at the lake."

"You know how long it takes women to get dressed."

"Freakin' eternity," Sam said around my lips, letting me push her down onto the bed.

---

I lifted both arms over my head and brought them down, sending a tsunami of water over Teal'c's head. Sam laughed from the dock, moving to one side to avoid the spray. She'd wrapped a see-through floral scarf around her waist after her brief swim and I was having a hard time concentrating on anyone else. Daniel was standing on the shore, squinting at us. He'd hardly ventured near the water, but he had still left his glasses up on the deck near where O'Neill was barbecuing. As Teal'c rallied for revenge, Colonel O'Neill whistled. We turned as he called, "Lunch is served!"

I pulled myself out of the water, shuddering in the sudden cold, and felt Sam wrap a towel around my shoulders, squeezing me lovingly as she chuckled, "Don't catch cold, sweetheart!"

I swatted her away playfully and looked to make sure Teal'c was out of earshot. He was walking up on shore near Daniel, listening to the younger man say something. Assured we were alone, I turned to Sam and said, "Maybe you can warm me up again after lunch?"

"Your wish is my command, milady," Sam said with a laugh. We climbed onto the deck, where Colonel O'Neill was serving up our lunches.

---

Daniel had packed a forest-scape puzzle and had managed to fill in most of the border with Sam's help. Teal'c and I were a close second, having filled in an entire lake by ourselves. Colonel O'Neill simply watched, refilling people's drinks when they got too low and pointing out spaces he thought certain pieces would go. At around eight, I noticed him stifling more and more yawns behind his hand. Finally, he gave in and stood up. "Well, I guess that's it for tonight. You guys have fun and try to be quiet for Papa, eh?"

"Yes, Papa," Sam said, placing someone's head in the puzzle.

Jack waved her off and disappeared down the hall to his room as we continued to fill in the big picture. I placed a piece between two others that Teal'c had found and discovered that the three shacks next to the lake were outhouses. I smiled; it's amazing how the picture changes depending on what pieces are revealed.

Two hours of joking and playful competition later, Daniel could no longer hide his yawns. "Poor Danny," I said. "We're sitting on your bed, aren't we?"

"No, no, it's fine, I'm... I'm good for another couple of hours..."

"It's all right, Daniel," Sam grinned. "We should be heading to bed, too."

Daniel looked up at the 'we' and I covered. "Right... I guess we should go to bed at the same time rather than disturb each other getting in and out of bed."

"Guys, you don't have to go anywhere, really. I'm fi-ii-ahhhhh-ine."

"Daniel, when your rebuttal is interrupted by a yawn, you're tired." She got up and patted him on the head. "Sleep tight, Daniel. Teal'c, have a good kel'no'reem." He nodded to her and bent his head back over the puzzle. Sam smiled at me and we headed down the hallway (tiptoeing past the Colonel's room) and slipped into the guest room. Sam kissed me, hard, long, lovingly and took my hand, guiding me to the bed. "Did you have fun today?" she whispered, already stripping out of her day-clothes.

"Mm-hmm," I said, undoing my jeans and sitting on the edge of the bed to get my shoes off. I felt Sam's hands on my shoulders and I sighed, letting my head fall back and rest on her forearms. "No foreplay."

"Not foreplay," Sam whispered.

She rubbed my shoulders, the mattress squeaking as she knelt behind me. I sighed and let her fingertips do their magic. She loosened my hair from the pins holding it up and her hands moved to my temples. I was in heaven. She kissed my ear and I turned my head, pecking her lips softly. "Thank you, baby. I feel a lot better."

"Wanna feel even better?" Sam whispered.

I put my hand over hers before it could reach my breast. "Sam, honey..."

"Janet..."

"No, Sam. I told you, I wouldn't feel comfortable."

Sam sank back away from me, dropping onto the mattress with a thud. "I understand," she said, in a tone of voice that left no doubt that she didn't understand. I sighed and finished undressing. I put on an oversized shirt from the suitcase and took my panties off underneath it before sliding into bed next to Sam. I waited for her to put her arm around me, to cradle me close, but she stayed where she was, staring at the ceiling. "I love you," I tried.

"Love you," she repeated.

I sighed and closed my eyes. Vacation fight. Fun.

---

At midnight, I woke with an urge. I'm not ashamed of it; nights sleeping with a beautiful blonde woman who shares my love had gotten my body used to... certain things. I blinked, trying to get back to sleep, but I knew what would happen if I slept. I would dream. And, in this state, dreams would be of one genre and one genre alone. I looked up at Sam and craned my neck, kissing her earlobe. My hand went under her nightshirt and cupped one breast.

"Janet," she said, waking immediately as I pinched her nipple. A little quieter, she added, "Are you trying to kill me?"

"I'm trying to apologize," I breathed. I flattened my palm against her breast and rose, spreading my legs and settling over her thigh. Lowering my head, I blew into her ear and whispered, "I'm not wearing panties."

"Shh," Sam giggled. "Stop it!"

"We've been good for a whole two hours," I informed her.

"What do you want, a medal?" Sam asked, laughing.

I kissed her, hard, my tongue invading her mouth as I pressed against her warm thigh. "Mmmm," I moaned around her tongue. "You know what I want, blondie." Sam succumbed to my wiles, as I knew she would. She accepted my apology and I did what I could to muffle her moans with my mouth. Her hands wandered. I squeaked a few times when she would find someplace new to pinch. I glanced continuously at the wall separating us from Colonel O'Neill's room, wondering if he was awake... if he was overhearing any of our little show.

Any worries I had were erased as Sam took advantage of my distraction and flipped us over.

She loved to be on top... who am I to argue?

---

I woke alone, which is always a little disappointing. Tugging my clothes back into place, I sat up and rubbed absently at my eyes as I tried to determine what time it was. Finally giving up, I looked at the night table and saw a short note from Sam. "Went for a walk, see you in a few hours!" I smiled and got up, pulling clothes from the closet. A pair of faded jeans that sort of fit me (tightened with a belt) and a huge flannel shirt that enveloped me completely. The sleeves went past my hands and the hem went to my knees. I loved it, felt like a little kid in it, and I buttoned three buttons. The collar hung loose and open, revealing my shoulders and upper chest. I didn't mind; let the boys gawk and let Sam drool.

I left the bedroom, heading for coffee first and foremost. Shower would wait until I was guaranteed some hot water. Jack was standing alone in the kitchen, sipping coffee. I rubbed my eyes in the brightness of the front room, watching as silhouettes of Daniel, Teal'c and Sam walked towards the woods outside. "Where're they headed?" I asked, moving towards the coffeemaker.

"Couple hours of hiking. Want me to catch up with 'em, tell 'em to wait a minute?"

"Nah," I waved him off. The coffee was a strong, sharp, wake-you-up-from-a-sound-sleep brew and I felt it all the way down. I sighed in pleasure and leaned against the counter. "Ooh, Fraiser women were not meant to live in the woods."

Jack smirked. "For the record, I think you look fine for someone who didn't get much sleep last night."

I tried to hide my surprise at his comment. Had he heard? Oh, God, did he know? I started to ask what he meant by that when he saved me. "Yeah, Carter told me you had a hard time falling asleep."

"Right," I sighed. "Sam." I took another sip of my coffee and moved away from the counter, turning my back to him so he wouldn't see me mouthing a curse at my lover. Stupid enchantress... I caught sight of the puzzle and nodded towards it. "Looks like someone went to work on the puzzle last night."

"I heard you and Carter foolin' around last night."

I spun around, sure I had heard him wrong. Sure he didn't mean what I thought he meant. "Sir, I..."

"There's no room for interpretation, Janet," he said, his voice gentle. "I just... thought you should know."

"Shit," I whispered, the hand holding my coffee mug shaking so badly that some of it splashed out. The burning didn't register right off, but Colonel O'Neill was immediately at my side. He wrapped a dishtowel around my hand, putting pressure to the heel of it before I realized how badly it was burning. "Shit," I repeated, tears beginning to pour down my face. "Shit, shit, Sir, you can't... we'll stop if..."

"Doc, calm down," he said. "I'm not going to say anything. I just thought you should know that I... knew."

I looked up at him, I touched his shoulder, and kissed him. He stepped back, but I followed, not allowing him to break contact. I'd been smelling him since putting on his shirt, and I'd wanted this for over a year. When we finally parted, I stopped any questions he might have formed by speaking first. "Jack," I whispered, my hands on his shoulders, standing on my toes and relishing the feel of his lips still on my lips. He was trying hard to breathe, trying hard not to look too eager. "I want this. I want you..."

"You're... with Carter... with Sam."

"I know," I whispered. "Don't think about that. Just think about this." I stretched up and kissed him again. His brow furrowed and he pressed harder against me. I'd reeled him in... this was really going to happen. I moaned into his mouth and he lifted me off the floor.

---

The air was pushed from my lungs as Jack threw me face-down onto his mattress, most likely a little rougher than he'd planned. I pushed myself up on my forearms, looking at him over my shoulder as he tugged his shirt off. He was panting, staring down at me with a mixture of passion and shock in his brown eyes. He fell on top of me, his arms wrapping around my body as he kissed my neck, kissed my ear, kissed the back of my neck between my hairline and my shirt collar. His hands worked the buttons of the shirt I was wearing and, in minutes, I was topless beneath him.

Jack kissed down my back, kissing my shoulders, and tugged my jeans down a bit to kiss the dimples above my ass. I pressed my face into the pillow and reached down, undoing my button and loosening the jeans. He pulled them off and I flipped, twisting the denim around my knees. He tried desperately to untangle it while staring wantonly at my naked breasts. I'd never felt more brazen, more naked in my life. I laid back, spreading my legs and staring down myself at him. He rose, undoing his own pants and letting himself free.

I had seen him before, naturally. But erect... to see him erect... I held out my hands to him, beckoning him forward. Jack balanced himself on top of me, planting his hands on either side of me as he positioned himself between my legs. I kissed him hard, letting him know that I wouldn't regret this later. I reached down and felt him, running my fingertips down his length and putting him where I needed him to be. I spread my legs, bending my knees and closing them around his midsection, holding him in place.

Jack swallowed hard, closed his eyes, and thrust forward.

I cried out in surprise, my eyes closing and my teeth closing on my bottom lip. It had been so long since I'd been with a man... I kissed his shoulder, licking up to his neck and feeling his pulse pound. He grunted quietly and pushed me down against the mattress. Our eyes locked as he held me down and gently started to thrust against me. I panted, whispering his name like an oath as he slipped in and out of me with ease. "Jack," I panted. It was the only word that meant anything.

"Oh, God, Janet..."

I stood corrected.

---

Afterward, he slipped out of me, slipped out of bed, and slipped out of the room. I lay on top of the covers for a long time, naked and wet, covered with the evidence of what we'd done. The shower was going then. I licked my lips and sat up, touching my forehead and then checking the alarm clock next to Jack's bed. Sam and the others had been gone for two hours. God, had Jack and I been at it for that long?

I stood and went back to the guest room, finding clean clothes and slipping into them while I waited for Jack to finish the shower. As I pulled the blouse on, I realized the ridiculousness of what I was doing and dropped the shirt, turning on my heel and walking into the bathroom.

Jack didn't say anything as I climbed into the shower stall behind him. He simply turned, looked down at me, and wrapped his arms around me. We held each other for a long time, me very aware of his cock against my stomach, he very likely aware of my breasts against his ribs. "It'll be all right," he promised.

"I know," I said. How well I knew...

---

We made love once more in the shower, then retreated to our separate rooms to get dressed. I joined him on the couch, staring at the half-finished puzzle as we waited for the rest of our group to return from their hike. We didn't speak. We hardly looked at each other. Every now and then, one of us would find a piece of the puzzle and place it, but our movements were minimal.

Finally, three hours after they'd left, the three missing members of SG-1 returned. Daniel entered first, completely drenched and holding his broken glasses in one hand. Sam was picking dried leaves from her hair, muttering about "never hiking again." Teal'c, whose lower half was also drenched, stayed on the deck as Daniel disappeared into the bathroom. The shower started a few seconds later and I wondered if he smelled any evidence of what had transpired there not long ago...

Sam walked around the couch, dropping into an armchair, closer to me than to Jack. "You guys won't believe what happened out there. We were walking along the bank of the river and Daniel sees this--" She stopped, realizing we weren't looking at her, apparently weren't even aware they'd come in. "Guys?" She snapped her fingers and leaned forward with a whistle. "Colonel? Janet?"

I looked at my lover. "Sam... he knows." Sam's smile faded. "And there's something else."

"Something else?" Sam said, her voice hoarse.

I dropped my head to my chest, covering my face with one hand. Sam glanced at Jack as she slipped out of her armchair and put a hand on my shoulder. "Janet? It's okay, sweetheart... don't cry."

"Cry?" I said, looking up with dry eyes and a smile.

"You're laughing?" Jack asked, confused.

Sam returned my smile and shook her head. "Colonel... you, ah... I have to apologize."

"You have to apologize?" Jack asked. "You... do realize what happened between me and Janet, right?"

Sam nodded. "Yeah. A little ahead of schedule, but it'll be just fine in the long run."

"Ahead of... Long run?" He looked between us, trying to gauge our smiles. He held both hands up and said, "All right, what the hell is going on here?"

I glanced at Sam. "Oh, honey... you tell it so much better than I do..."
