We had something of a "perfect storm." I needed to work overtime so I was out. Half and Acura had to deal with family. Not sure about the others.

We have a newcomer, "FreedomCaitian," who is interested in joining our merry band. Unfortunetly, her first taste has been how things can go kablooie.

Also, Vivian had an accident earlier this week. She's getting better, but let's all wish her "get well soon."

Hey, no scaring the newbies (especialy when they come with sharp fingernails ;) ).

As for Droolin, just as long as he doesn't loose anything but a bit of hide, if he can at least limp away, and if anything from Lynx's "toy closet" is involved, use the "Cloud of Censorship."

Like many saytyrs, he often gets away with a lot, but even the luckiest ones can find the tables turned once in a while.

Dude, that's not right. We gotta mess with the newbies to see if they are Freedom worthy.

There's no Cosmo :-) we don't need that cloud. LOL

Hey, if we keep scaring away the newbies, attrition will eventualy shut down the sim.

And Cosmo or not, the Cloud stays. I already fudge some of the boundaries set by Cpt. Trekie, but will keep the sim at PG/PG-13. If you want R-rated material, press Isa to open the "Ventetta" and join in.

We stand a much better chance of having their ships here in a MU Sim than you ever could at Terran Empire -- except for occasional use in the post-ST VI days on the ISS Wraith as cannon fodder.

And of course there was the legendary Golden Eagle mission of January - December 2001 when we slipped into a MU inside the Romulan Neutral Zone. You don't want to know what the ISS Golden Eagle was like. ::shudder::

Sounds like you're asking for a "Mirror Mirror" plotline.

Be careful what you wish for. What if Droolin's the Captain?

Kirk?? Class?? What show are you watchin, The man Screwed anything with a ........ Female sex organ. And damnit he even got a few guys. ::caugh::Spock::caugh:: ::caugh::Bones::caugh:: Remember I seen the video's on You Tube. ROFL He's the same in Boston Leagel too. ROFL Mr. Hormone. Of course the pics Nimoy took of big, not so hot women in the nude is just as...... scarey? Ya Scarey. (I know I spelt that wrong)

Something about tv in the 60's man. They were how should I put it.... DEMENTED!!!!!!!! Lets play with the censores. Sex? sure just make sure the beds are 2 twins at opposite ends of the room. Kirk gets the girls and boys, just make sure no one sees him with the boys.

And what's with this Perry Mason charector.. Gay? who knows, he never gets a girl or a guy. Confused maybe. And what's this relationship with Della Street. Little wacky dont'ya think. That desk of his is pretty huge, wonder who's hidin under it (not me, although I wish it were).

I swaer Tv in the 60's was NOT RIGHT. ANd the 70's wasn't far behind. OK OK tv in 2007 is more screwed up then any other time. But at least we have decent special FX's I mean the crap they did in TOS was Arcaic. (did I spell that right)

::falls outa chair laughing:: OMG this is as funny as the Beaver chat we had in Pets And Animals on Yahoo. ROFL and it wasn't bout the animal, beaver

At least it was class compared to how most guys go about such womanizing. Someone in the sim even suggested I start emulating Droolin's behavior in real life. ;)

And I never saw him as having a thing for guys. TV and movies from those days and before showed guys not as afraid to touch each other as now. Unfortunately, in this less innocent era, such scenes get the jokes flowing.

TV in the 60's, well, it was a product of the times. Crazy times for a crazy generation. Someone on the radio called the '60s a reaction to the '50's, which in turn was a reaction to the country having gone through a generation of economic depression and war. A reaction to a reaction. Perhaps, but it's still crazy.

TOS, it has an excuse. When it came out, sci-fi was not taken seriously at all, state of the art quite literally "Lost in Space." Roddenberry had to fight to get his concepts on the screen, "What's this design you want for the spaceship? Do you know how long it'll take to build the model? Why not make it just a simple rocket ship?" "Why the hell does the show have to have an alien on the bridge? Why not just get rid of him?"

As for special effects, better wasn't available. When "Star Wars" came out several years later, they had to invent a bunch of new ones. In fact, one scene was scraped as it just couldn't be done with the technology of the day.

We were talking about generations in my Dating and Relationships class.. Only taking it cause of Ernie. We are the Generation X and confused enough to be Generation Wire. Well the wierdo that said The Wired generation was a mear 21 year old kid. LOL The wired generation is into technology (puters, MP3 players, I Pods, etc.)

Star Wars?? wtf is that? Never heard of it.

Relationship classes? Oh well, it is Valentine's Day month. ;-)

As for Generations, if you're interested in how they differ, you might want to pick up "Generations: A History of America's Future" from the Library, about how generations and history affect one another.

When "Generation X" starts has been a little fuzzy. The book put it at 1963. "Generation Y," aka the "Mellinials" as the book titled them, are considered those born in 1982 and after, the first ones just old enough to graduate in the "Class of 2000."

[edit]Found a book review about it online. [/edit]
