'Love thy neighbour and thou shalt not steal
I know this love is real'
She has lived her whole life by the book. One book in particular governs her, it’s heavy starched words, ‘thou shalt not…’ printed in bold across her psyche.
In your arms such thin paper sermons become insignificant. Rigid commandments crumble, replaced with the reality of fevered skin on skin - her flushed body straining up into yours. When you taste her sweetness she is happy to call out God’s name in vain. When you reach her core with the tip of your tongue God’s name is replaced by your own.
In you she has found a new kind of salvation
